I am starting Aristeia. I just ordered my box and already bought most expansions (I love the models and their look).

I am on the fence of swapping all the bases for some Hexagonal ones (official plastic hex 30mm bases). I could not find any indications or tutorial using actual Aristeia models.

For those of you who swapped the bases for another plastic base, what it difficult? Did you keep the small barr below each model? Did you cut flush the feet? and if so how did you glue it...

Because I just checked my plays for Aristeia! and after 21 months I managed to play 102 matches and most of them competitive via TTS, because for reasons... ;)

That being said I have the same amount of plays like in Infinity.

And like you can imagine this means that I mostly switched from Infinity (started in late 2016 and played only 10 matches the last two years) to Aristeia!.

The reason for this is mostly because of the time needed to set up an Infinity table...

Things in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, are reopening now, and we're about to start hitting our LFGS again to play games. My group has been playing quite alot of A!, and there's a video I made a while ago explaining the game, it actually brought in two interested players!
